Days Two – Three | Wednesday, May 25 – Thursday, May 26, 2022

Overnight in the vibrant town of Valencia. Start with a visit The City of Arts and Sciences on the former riverbed of the River Turia or take a stroll through the largest aquarium in Europe, The Oceanogràfic. Marvel at the 15th century architecture of Old Town and modern art installations at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art. Enjoy a dish of authentic Valencian paella with a cool glass of sangría before setting out to discover the city’s exhilarating nightlife.

Calling all lovers of Spanish culture and cuisine, our day in Valencia showcases the city’s cultural delights and delectable bites. Explore Valencia’s Old Town with visits to the Central Market, town squares, and the Church of San Nicolas. Then, feast on a 10-course tapas tasting featuring Cava and regional wines that are known to be intense, with body and structure. More details to come!

Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Day Four | Friday, May 27, 2022

Palma de Mallorca is the capital and largest city of the Balearic Islands. Mallorca, known as the “Island of Tranquility,” has a landscape as varied as its history. Founded by the Romans, later settled by the Arabs, then conquered by the Spanish, the island is host to all sorts of architectural wonders. Visit the Old City to see the Arab Baths or travel to the old fishing village on the edge of town to view the ancient windmills of Es Jonquet. Marvel at La Seu, the cathedral built on the site of a Moorish mosque and boasting the highest nave of all Gothic cathedrals, while you saunter along the Parc de la Mer.

Relax and soak up the sun aboard the all-inclusive Crystal Symphony while cruising the Mediterranean Sea on your way to opulent Monte Carlo.

Overnight on the Côte d’Azur in Monte Carlo, capital of Monaco, the world’s second-smallest country and home to the world’s oldest monarchy – the Grimaldi family. Stroll along the yacht-lined harbor and visit the Casino de Monte Carlo, the Prince’s Palace, and Saint Nicholas Cathedral where Grace Kelly is buried. While you’re here, you can’t miss the Monaco Grand Prix, where Formula One racecars speed through the narrow roads and tight curves of the serene principality.

Olbia, an important transportation hub on the northeast side of the island of Sardinia, has a storied past. Bronze Age ruins of the long lost Nuraghic people sit alongside Roman and medieval artifacts. In town, shop for handmade textiles and jewelry and enjoy the delightful local cuisine. Outside the city, the dramatic landscapes of Costa Smeralda with its superb beaches, secluded grottoes, staggering cliffs, and deep oak forests wait to be discovered.

Day Nine | Wednesday, June 1, 2022

Sorrento, burgeoning with UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a history and culture that stretches all the way back to the 11th century B.C., is one of the most beautiful and popular destinations of the Campania region. Its dramatic scenery and landscapes make this romantic port a destination everyone should experience. During your visit, plan a trip to the celebrated Italian island of Capri; ride a boat to the legendary home of the Sirens in Positano; or tour the archaeological wonders of Pompeii, Torre Annunziata, and the 4th century B.C. city of Herculaneum.
